Wanting to eat healthier? Shed a few pounds? Lose that stubborn acne you've had since you were fifteen and you're like wait why do I even have acne I'm an adult? But not wanting to go so extreme as the paleo diet? Then read no further. Because that's what I'm posting: Paleo recipes. I know that word probably scares you, like you think you'll have to go out with a spear and catch yourself a buffalo, but you actually don't. We have stores that carry already hunted meat for us. You know. You've probably seen it. In the meat section. Anyway, here's a few ideas that I actually eat on a daily basis that I swear by King Neptune's crown are delish. And I love chocolate.
Ground chicken, beef, or turkey
Extra Light Olive Oil
Oil pan if chicken or turkey. Brown meat. Add all seasonings generously. While browning, dice veggies. When meat is cooked, empty into separate bowl. If beef, drain fat. Oil pan. Add sweet potato. Add all seasonings. Add more oil if needed. When sweet potato is browned, add zucchini. Add more oil. Add all seasonings. When zucchini is browned, add squash. Add more oil. Add all seasonings. Add green onions. Add more oil if necessary. When flavors are all fused together, add back in the meat. Drizzle with more oil. Allow flavors to marry. Turn off heat after a few minutes.
Grilled Chicken Breast
With avocado sprinkled with sea salt & sweet potato fries/tots
Chicken Hot Dogs
With asparagus & spinach salad
Just a couple, I know, but it'll grow. I have one more, Mom's Chicken Soup, but I need to ask her what she puts in it. I'll keep you posted.
